Specification and Drawing
Built in 2001, Wilcarry 501 is a fully classed and load lined flat-top pontoon / barge with spud legs. This vessel is ideal for crane work on marine civils projects and also as a transportation barge with a carrying capacity of nearly 500t.
This vessel has a new mooring system on deck comprising 2 off 7t winches and a silent hydrauilc power pack
Typical work that this vessel carries out would be as follows:
- crane platform up to 80t crawler cranes for craneage operations
- piling platform for piling operations
- coastal transportation
- dockside storage
- vessel maintenenace platform
- rock placing / transportation
- cable laying, maintenence and inspection
- floating accomodation (portacabin type offices etc)
