Samson is a well known barge in Milford Haven and for the majority of the time she is set up as a crane barge. Samson is equiped with a large hydraulic power pack below deck which drives the four mooring winches. The deck layout includes turning blocks' roller fairleads and timber matting for the 50t crawler crane whgich is normally secured onboard. This vessel is ideal for crane work on marine civils projects and also on jetty work within the haven. Typical work that this vessel carries out would be as follows: - crane platform upto 50t crawler cranes for craneage operations - piling platform for piling operations - vessel maintenenace platform Vessel equipment includes - stability book - hand-rails (optional) -2 off double drum 5t winches and internal diesel hydrauil power pack - smit towing barackets (optional) - cargo securing lugs and lashing points (optional) - mast and light boxes (optional) - safety boat (optional)
