Wilventure II came into service in 2004 to replaced our previos vessel Wilventure which served Southampton for 25 years. Wilventure II is fitted out to a very high standard for transfering passengers around the Solent and English Channel at speeds of up to 22 knots. The engines of this vessel are installed aft of the wheelhouse to minimise noise for those on board. This vessel is alos certified for pilot boat duties in addition to being able to carry 12 passengers in comfort.
Vessel equipment includes the following:
- fully air conditioned accomodation
- suspension seats for pasengers and crew
- heads with shower and galley
- 6kw silent generator
