Williams Shipping are looking for a dedicated Marine Office Co-Ordinator to join their busy marine team. The company, a family run marine & logistics business founded in 1894, is looking for a Marine Office Co-Ordinator who will be an integral part of the team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain marine daily log
- Prepare job invoices
- Input, maintain and issue daily & monthly logs
- Collate timesheets and produce monthly report for wage run
- Purchase consumables and replacement equipment monthly checks/run up of yard equipment
- Liaising with Ships Agents/Customers
- Receipting deliveries/producing stores manifests/issue & return
- Issue and check work permits
- Conduct site inductions
- Maintain first aid stations and signage
- Collate fuel figures and electricity readings as required
- Report hazards, positive observations, near misses, incidents and accidents
- Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective manner
- Any other reasonable management request
Required Experience/Skills:
- Computer literate
- Good administration skills
- Excellent communication skills including a polite telephone manner
