We are now looking for an additional planner to join our transport and cargo team. This will be a key role, supporting our busy transport operation as well as supporting our growing cargo handling service.

What you can expect from the role:
You will be working in a small team undertaking a variety of different tasks, including:
Planning of approximately 25 trucks, including specialist and abnormal movements
Managing drivers
Providing quotations and liaising with customers
Managing sub-contractors
Managing fleet maintenance
Taking customer enquiries over the telephone and by email
Booking VBS slots with the port
Planning the yard work
General administration and invoicing

What we are looking for in you:
Good understanding of road transport and port operations
Good IT & communication skills
Problem solving
