Our business is built on strong supplier relationships, operational efficiency, and a reputation for reliable, responsive service. We’re now looking for an experienced and commercially savvy Sales Manager to lead our sales division and drive forward our continued growth.

Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with company directors, the Sales Manager will take full ownership of the sales operation, managing a small but dynamic team responsible for the full sales cycle—from enquiry to delivery. You’ll oversee container procurement from China, manage stock across multiple UK depots, and ensure operational alignment with commercial targets. This role combines leadership, process optimisation, supplier and client management, and strategic input into the company’s direction.

- Oversee procurement of container stock—including placing factory orders in China, monitoring shipments, and coordinating arrival and allocation across UK depots.
- Handle key account management and build lasting relationships with clients, suppliers, and depot partners.
- Work with the account managers on business development—visiting new and existing customers, suppliers, and depots to maintain and grow business opportunities.
- Implement and refine operational processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience across the sales lifecycle.
- Conduct daily team meetings to review active jobs, pipeline opportunities, and customer feedback.
- Provide accurate sales and stock reporting using KPIs and metrics; prepare weekly performance updates for senior leadership.
- Take full responsibility for managing the sales division P&L—ensuring cost control, identifying efficiencies, and aligning budgets with business goals.
- Represent Willbox at industry events, trade shows, and supplier visits both in the UK and internationally.
- Set strategic goals in collaboration with the General Manager and directors, and drive continuous improvement across the division.

- Adept at designing and implementing efficient business processes.
- Professional and confident communicator with the ability to influence and negotiate at director/C-level.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and customer-focused mindset.
