ROAD TRANSPORT
Williams Shipping Transport offers a highly comprehensive 24 hour service including haulage, craneage, trailer hire and a range of storage solutions. We continually assess and modernise our extensive fleet of vehicles and ensure the highest levels of staff training in order to maintain our excellent track record for safety, reliability and quality.
Road Haulage
We operate an extensive fleet of vehicles ranging from small vans to 80 tonne articulated tractor units. We offer one of the largest fleets of flat trailers in the South, and a comprehensive fleet of other trailers, including, curtain-siders, extendable semi-low-loaders, Skeletal, PSK, pipe trailers and extendable flat trailers.
Specialist Transport
We offer a range of services tailored to the individual needs of the customer. We operate vehicles plated to STGO Cat 2 (80 tonnes gross) and trailers extendable to 36mtrs in length. We can arrange all the necessary routing / notification and we can provide our own escort vehicle for abnormal load movements.
Trailer Hire
We offer a wide range of trailers, including, 40’/44’ flat beds, pipe trailers, curtain-siders, with / without tail-lifts, extendable semi-low-loaders with / without ramps and both steering and non-steering extendable trailers. Crane off load vehicles & Forklifts
We operate a range of specialist crane vehicles capable of handling and transporting a variety of loads, without the need for additional loading/off-loading facilities on site. Our crane vehicles are capable of lifting up to 8 tonnes (depending on radius), and our articulated crane vehicles are capable of handling loads of over 60 feet in length. We also operate forklifts up to 8 tonnes to allow de-vanning & storage of goods in our yard.
