Haulage

We are a traditional haulage company, providing specialist transport services and general haulage for over fifty years. Our highly experienced and trained operations staff will guarantee that all necessary planning and preparation is undertaken to ensure that every job is completed in a safe and efficient manner.

We are capable of transporting almost anything at all, whatever its type, size, shape or nature to wherever it needs to go throughout the UK and Europe.

We offer a range of haulage, heavy haulage and specialist transport services tailored to the individual needs of the customer.

As well as holding the statutory qualifications for driving, such as the driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), we go further and train our drivers to the highest standards in the industry to include:

  • ADR – the licence to carry dangerous goods
  • Aviation Secure – ability to deliver within airport secure bases
  • Slinger Signaller – ability to work with cranes on site loading/offloading
  • SAFED – a complimentary driving development course

All our drivers are highly knowledgeable and are also very experienced in roping, sheeting and securing loads of all shapes and sizes, catering for all our customer’s haulage requirements.

Our Haulage Fleet

We operate a modern fleet of vehicles and trailers, most of which are satellite tracked. The fleet ranges from small vans and rigid vehicles up to 65 tonne articulated vehicles. The fleet operates throughout the UK and Europe.

Our comprehensive fleet of specialist trailers include:

  • Curtain-siders, some with tail lifts
  • Extendable semi-low-loaders of varying bed heights
  • Skeletal
  • PSK flatbeds
  • Pipe trailers and extendable all steer flat trailers up to 36 meters in length

24 Hour Response

Heavy Haulage

In the UK, construction & use regulations specify the maximum gross weight of the vehicle, trailer and load is 44 tonnes. We are able to exceed this limit using our heavy haulage STGO service.

We provide the expertise required to transport heavy cargo and can manage your project from start to finish. Our transport team will handle the necessary notifications to the Police and Bridge authorities, arrange site surveys, route planning and escort vehicles where required.

On our specialist haulage fleet we have an extensive range of equipment and can provide STGO 1 & STGO 2 category heavy haulage. This, coupled with our experienced specialist haulage drivers ensures that any movements are completed without disruption or incident. We have full public liability insurance and are members of the RHA (Road Haulage Association).
